Everywhere I Go
emily zhang
Lyrics:
Sunken dreams with unsown seams
Leave me a torn up mess to clean
I try hard to stitch it up
Start a second chance with us
and I look for you everywhere I go
I’m aimless round and round
Circling your favorite spots in town
Skipping stones and missing home
You’re tracing everything I know
So I look for you everywhere I go
Drown me in a hundred hugs
But I’m numb to everybody’s touch
You have me hanging by a single thread
I remember everything you’ve said
How am I supposed to let you go
I don’t think I can let you go
Guess for now I’ll just pretend
Until I’ve hit every dead end
You’re gone I know I know
But I still get tiny strings of hope
I look for you everywhere I go
Oh I look for you everywhere I go
Oh I look for you everywhere I go
I look for you
I look for you
I look for you everywhere I go
I look for you
I look for you
I look for you everywhere
