The West
leah dunn
Indigo is on the way
It could have happened any day
Concrete in the gaps beneath
Filling in the space to breathe
Paramedic in a storm
The ambulance is never warm
 Search party overhead
The escorts to the hospital bed
Giving up direction
Losing all intention
Floating back to where it all came down
Eyes in the harbor waiting offshore I
Don't know where the West is
Anymore.
Blackened out from dusk till dawn
The light still hiding with the law
Arid dust conceals the code
Driving the wrong side of the road
Giving up direction
Losing all intention
Floating back to where it all came down
Eyes in the harbor
waiting offshore
I don't know where the West is
Anymore.
Holding on now
holding holding on
But it's all gone
Holding on now
holding holding on
But it's all gone
Holding on now
holding holding on
But it's all gone
Holding on now
holding holding on
We can’t hold on
Anymore.
